I cannot believe it has been 14 months since I have posted on my blog. This is supposed to take the place of scrapbooking for me because it is easier, but I haven't even been able to do this. I have decided to repent and rededicate myself to keeping a record of my family and our crazy lives. School is in full-swing now, and I am so grateful to have somewhat of a routine. I have a Kindergartener and a pre-schooler, so I still do a lot of running, but it is so fun to see those little boys eager to learn and do their thing. Leah is in her second year of Jr. high, an 8th grader. Janner is the big dog at school in the 6th grade, and Ethan is the low-man on the totem pole in 4th. Trent is home alone with me two afternoons a week, and it is so fun! That kid is wild! He keeps me on my toes and I pray for the energy to make it through our last two year old. I have also enjoyed this season of harvest and canning. There is such satisfaction in filling jars with things you have grown (or bought) to use for a later time. I saw a yummy peach pancake topping on my friend's website that I want to try (I will have to figure out how to link it). That may be a project for next week. As for today, Steve and I are going to the BYU/Utah game. So excited for a little get-away!
