Winter in October
This is the scene in our backyard Sunday morning, October 12. We have received over 12" of snow in the past 24 hours. It is crazy! The leaves haven't even fallen off the trees yet, and they are covered in snow. My poor garden is buried! I hope I can get the potatoes out before Winter is here to stay!

I can't believe it! We don't even have that much in fact it snowed but melted right when it hit the ground. I hope winter is not here to stay!
Okay - well, can't say I'm missing the weather there! It is in the 80's here and we've had a little rain. I suppose the trade off is that we have to deal with hurricanes.........
